Success isn’t always financial. It’s about have a crazy, silly dream and making it a reality.
Dr. Daniel D’Auria is a gastroenterologist who resides in Southern New Jersey, where he has been practicing for almost 3 decades.
He is an avid photographer, setting the preponderance of his interests on wildlife. His photographs have received a number of acclaims, including a highly honored photo in the coveted “Nature’s Best” Photography Competition. Additional awards include Smithsonian’s Aerial America Photo Contest 2011, a finalist in the Smithsonian’s 11th annual photo contest in 2014, and inclusion in the top 100 in Audobon’s 2019 contest.
He has written a series of children’s books about wild animals which he publishes under the alias, DrDADBooks, Some of his books grace the shelves of our national parks. One of his most recent honors was to learn that his book “Can a Puffin Puff” is being read to preschool students at the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge.
