Josh Turknett, M.D., Neurologist
Dr. Turknett is a board-certified neurologist.with a B.A. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Wesleyan University, an M.D. from Emory University, who completed his residency training at the University of Florida. He is the Chief Medical Officer of humanOS, which is a health-performance application for unlocking human potential in individuals and organizations. The central driver of underperformance and illness is the mismatch between our present and natural habitat. As such, minimizing mismatch is essential in order to reach our cognitive potential, prevent chronic illness, and thrive. humanOS is a tool for helping people do so.
Dr. Turknett's areas of special expertise include migraine and cognitive disorders. Most of his work with patients is done virtually, as this allows for flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with people outside of his geographical area. He is also the President of Physicians for Ancestral Health which is an organization of physician members whose personal and professional lives have been transformed by the application of evolutionary mismatch to health and disease. The mission of PAH is to promote this approach to the broader medical community and beyond.
